Job Description
The Viridium Insurance Group specializes in the efficient management of life insurance portfolios. This means we acquire insurance companies and their contract portfolios, integrate them into our organization, and continue the contracts over the long term.

Cyber Security Architect*
What it's about
You will be part of the Cyber Security department . Members of this team protect the Viridium Group's IT systems, data, and employees from digital threats. They ensure that risks are identified early, vulnerabilities are remediated, and security incidents are professionally addressed.
The department's core tasks include monitoring the IT infrastructure , conducting risk analyses and penetration tests , managing identified vulnerabilities, and coordinating incident response measures, including forensic analysis. The team develops security concepts , implements them in collaboration with IT and compliance, and ensures their continued development during ongoing operations.
In addition, the department is responsible for group-wide Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) . The goal is to ensure compliance with the principle of least privilege , secure privileged access, and ensure audit-proof processes.
As a Cyber Security Architect, you will further develop the Viridium Group's security architecture , integrate security requirements into IT projects , and help shape key measures in the areas of IAM, Zero Trust, and incident response.

These would be your specific tasks
- Design and further development of the security architecture in a hybrid IT infrastructure (cloud and on-premise)
- Integration of security requirements into IT projects taking regulatory requirements into account
- Design and implementation of Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions , including role models, authorization management and identity lifecycle
- Co-design and implementation of comprehensive security concepts
- Further development and implementation of zero-trust strategies
- Analysis and assessment of security incidents and development of appropriate countermeasures
- Technical management of security-relevant projects and coordination with internal departments and external partners
This is what we want from you
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable subject
- Several years of experience in managing strategic IT projects
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience in the implementation of:
- Security architectures and zero-trust concepts
- Identity & Access Management
- Security standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001, BSI-Grundschutz, CIS Controls)
- ITIL-based processes (change, incident and problem management
- Basic knowledge of software development and scripting for automation and integration of security-relevant solutions
- Must-have tech skills
- Microsoft 365
- Azure
- Windows and Linux systems
- Kubernetes and Docker
- DevOps methods
- Nice-to-have tech skills
- PowerShell
- Microsoft Graph API
- Very good German language skills (C2) in writing and speaking, very good English language skills
