Revenue Manager Snacks DACH (m/f/d)
ResponsibilitiesThe role
The Revenue Manager is responsible for supporting the development of Category Revenue Management plans and regularly reviewing these plans to adapt to external and internal changes. Key responsibilities include:
- Pack Price Architecture: Developing a portfolio that captures consumer value efficiently across categories, packs, channels, and formats by occasion and price-point. This includes determining the annual pricing rate based on external category price analysis and competitive benchmarks. The role leads pack-price projects, analyzes consumer and market research, and collaborates with Marketing and Sales.
- Mix Management: Identifying and monitoring the optimal assortment mix by category, channel, and customer. This involves recognizing mix drivers and drags as well as white spaces within the portfolio to recommend strategies that improve profitability.
- Capability Building: Advocating for a mindset shift within the organization towards a holistic approach that balances Net Revenue Realization, profitability, and consumer/shopper needs alongside internal financials.
These responsibilities contribute to the development of commercial strategies and customer selling stories in cooperation with Sales, Marketing, and Demand Acceleration teams. Continuous monitoring of pricing, market elasticities, and value realization is also a critical part of the role.
QualificationsCandidate Profile
The ideal candidate for this role should possess:
- A university degree in Economics, Finance, or Business.
At least 4-5 years of experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in Finance, Sales or Trade Marketing with roles such as Sales Finance, Commercial Finance, FP&A, Revenue Management.
- Preferably some experience in commercial roles including Demand Acceleration/ Trade Marketing, Sales, or Marketing.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong computer literacy.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong project management, strategic, and analytical skills capable of delivering strategic and tactical recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- A commercial drive characterized by results orientation, solution focus, and adaptability.
- A self-starting, persistent, and well-organized personality with passionate drive.
