• You aggregate the individual sales and customer plans of the sales groups and subsidiaries of medisana into an overall overview.
• You monitor the inventory and point out possible deviations / overstocks.
• You monitor the fulfillment of plans and the plan accuracy of the individual sales groups and subsidiaries (forecast accuracy).
• You optimize statistical forecasts by comparing and selecting the best possible statistical model, algorithm and trend parameters.
• You create and interpret sales and requirements planning in close cooperation with the sales groups and subsidiaries on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis, purchasing and controlling.
• On the basis of regular evaluations, you will initiate and develop action plans for reducing excess stocks together with Sales and monitor their implementation.
• You allocate product bottlenecks according to specifications, with short-term customer orders without forecasts.
• You create regular and ad hoc reports, and synchronize them to relevant colleagues.
• You will work on medium and long-term projects to optimize processes in inventory management and demand planning.
• You accompany the new product forecasts and transfer them to your demand planning tools.
• Together with Purchasing, you decide on procurement and provide input.
• You set up an automatic planning system within the ERP system and adapt automatic planning proposals and forecasts from the merchandise management system in coordination with the ERP system consultants.
• You determine quantity quotas for automatic orders (EDI) together with sales

• Successfully completed studies, preferably in the economic area or in the supply chain.
• Several years of experience in forecasting / demand planning, ideally within the consumer goods industry.
• Very good knowledge of forecasting / demand planning tools and MS Office (particularly Excel knowledge, optional PowerBI).
• Experienced with planning tools in ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical judgement.
• Solution-oriented personality with a hands-on mentality.
• Good communication skills, assertiveness, and reliable in meeting deadlines.
• Very good knowledge of English, team spirit and an independent, pragmatic and structured way of working round off your profile.
