To expand our operations team at our site in Pohlheim (near Giessen), we would like to hire an operator for the fermentation and freeze-drying division (m/f/d)

The team you can join

At our site in Pohlheim, we produce microorganisms for food and pet food production. Our operations team is made up of several team leaders, various shift teams, process specialists and the planning team.

What would your role look like?

• Production of microorganisms on a technical scale
• Operation of the production facilities in the field of fermentation (upstream/downstream), freeze-drying and packaging.
• Documentation of the manufacturing processes
• Cleaning and maintenance of technical systems
• Acting independently in order to successfully implement production according to the production plan and all other relevant specifications.
• Collaboration in continuous improvement processes

Who are we looking for?

• Completed technical vocational training (specialist in food technology, dairy worker, milk technology, pharmaceutical technician, BTA or similar)
• Experience in the field of fermentation, freeze-drying, spray drying or the food industry
• Technical understanding and interest in biotechnological processes
• Clean, conscientious and independent way of working
• Ability to work in a team and reliability
