To strengthen our Quality team, we are looking for you as soon as possible at our location in Norderstedt (Hamburg metropolitan region) as a
Quality Manager (m/f/d)
As a Quality Manager (m/f/d) at Boeing:
You are responsible for leading and coaching a team of quality inspectors to ensure compliance with AS9100/9120 standards for aerospace components.
Additionally, you will oversee a team of Customer Quality Engineers.
Your area of responsibility includes both the Norderstedt location and our chemical-specialized site in Henstedt-Ulzburg.
You ensure site compliance.
You manage the implementation and monitoring of process improvements.
You are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You manage the departmental budget and fulfill other assigned tasks.
You are responsible for compliance with KPIs.
What you bring to the table:
Basic Qualifications:
A degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a vocational training with relevant professional experience.
In-depth knowledge of AS9100/9120 standards as well as FAA, CAA, EASA.
At least 6-8 years of professional experience, including several years of leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Solid competencies in leading employees and the ability to create a motivating and structured work environment.
A general willingness to travel of about 25%.
