We are searching for the best talent for a Quality Lab Scientist to be in Norderstedt, Germany!
Purpose: The Quality Lab Scientist is responsible for executing and supporting the implementation of business improvement initiatives for Quality Operations Laboratories. He or she contributes to ensure compliance to JNJ and international Standards applicable to area of responsibility and drives forward the state of the art direction and best practices.
As a Quality Lab Scientist, you will:
- Plan, execute, and support equipment qualification, test method validation, and computer system validation in compliance with regulatory requirements and J&J standards.
- Perform and oversee microbiological test methods (if applicable) and analyze data for quality trends to support risk-based decisions and process improvements.
- Drive compliance initiatives and implement actions from audits, CAPAs, and new standards.
- Lead or support Quality Operations projects (e.g., cost improvement, system changes, LEAN, new software systems) and participate in change management processes.
- Ensure data integrity for laboratory equipment and develop expertise in LIMS for compliance and process optimization.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
Requirements/Qualifications:
- University/ Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in a Life Science or Engineering
- Analytical and methodical problem solving
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (MPG, MDD, 21CFR820, ISO 13485)
- Experience in GxP regulated industry
- Advanced computer skills and use of software applications
Skills:
- German, fluent, native language preferred. English, fluent
- Demonstrated project management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office —Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A thorough understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)/ISO (International Organization for Standardization) regulations is preferred.
- Independent working habit
- Good change Management experience
- Good communication skills and team experience
This role is within the chemical tariff group E11 or E12 according to the candidate’s experience.
