For our medical controlling department at the Albert-Schweitzer-Klinik Northeim GmbH, we are looking for you as a coding specialist / profiler / case manager (m/f/d) on a full-time or part-time basis as soon as possible.

• Coding review of discharged patients, in particular checking and correcting medical coding
• Supporting the department in correspondence with payers
• Ensuring the correct documentation of diagnoses and procedures based on medical records
• Closing cases for invoicing
• Cooperation based on trust

• Completed vocational training as a nursing specialist (m/f/d), preferably with further training as a medical coding specialist (m/f/d)
• Ideally, you have at least 1 year of professional experience as a medical coding specialist (m/f/d) or medical documentation assistant (m/f/d)
• Knowledge of the DRG system
• You are confident in using MS Office programs (Excel, Word) and have knowledge of hospital-specific IT applications (e.g. ORBIS) and ideally experience with digital file documentation
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented way of working
• A high degree of responsibility, commitment, flexibility and resilience
• Ability to work independently and conscientiously
