General Accountant (all genders)

• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
• Participate in month-end close process and prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  Assist with preparation of the parent company's monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Assists in general financial management and analysis
• Preparation and transmission of data for the monthly advance VAT return to the tax authorities
• Help establish a well-rounded accounting function covering all subsidiaries
• Identify areas for improvements in existing processes (esp. standardization, automation, digitalization) in accounting

• Accounting degree or similar with a focus on finance and accounting
• 5+ years of total relevant experience, accounting in accordance with HGB and German tax regulations.
• Tax knowledge (expertise in handling of advance VAT returns), collaboration with tax consultants.
• Strong time management and ability to manage competing priorities - goal/results and deadline-driven
• Precise, structured and independent way of working with high quality standards
• Team-player capable of working both collaboratively and independently with all levels of the organization
• Advances Microsoft Office skills, Excel-skills are a must.
• Business fluent in German and English (business language is English)
