Verantwortung:

• Financial lead for large international engineering and procurement projects within the chemical and renewable industries
• Controlling: gathering the scope of work incl. reviewing cost calculations at pre-execution/tendering phase. Setup and fine-tuning of the project structure and establishing the project baseline
• Owning together with the Project Manager the project review process to report and track cost and identify deviations and potential project delays, manage and support quality cost if applicable
• Consolidation and reporting of overall project performance forecasting, incl. but not limited to revenue/cost, schedule, risks, and cash
• Monthly closing activities management of the PS module in SAP for the projects in scope for closing and providing accurate periodic forecasting for major KPIs
• Leading project governance / risk / contingency assessment sessions for the project whilst also identifying any critical action to prevent delays and cost overruns; proactively identify emerging headwinds, quantify cost and schedule implications and work with project managers to mitigate them
• Cash management on project level, support invoicing process, securing timely submission of milestone payment requests, drive collections, and cash forecasting for the projects in scope

Qualifikationen:

• Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting, Finance or Controlling
• At least 3 years of project controlling experience in an industrial company with strong background in SAP (PS/FI/CO modules)
• Advanced financial modelling skills (Excel) and strong knowledge of PowerPoint
• Sound knowhow in project cost planning, scheduling, and reporting
• Strong communication skills in English
• Highest degree of accuracy, precision, attention to detail, consistency, and persistency
• Ability to work independently and against tight deadlines
