Job Description
We are currently hiring experienced Coax Technicians (1099 contractors) to support large-scale residential and commercial installations. This position is coax-only, focused on consistent new installations in high-demand service areas.
Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of hands-on coax experience and be capable of performing full install and activation — including wall fishing, line runs, modem/router setup, and post-install testing. You should be confident working independently, delivering clean installs, and ensuring full customer satisfaction.
Technicians are expected to work 6 days per week (8 AM – 7 PM) with a steady flow of jobs averaging 3 per day. Weekly earnings typically range from $1,200 to $1,400, depending on job volume and performance. We do not cap your income — the more you can handle, the more you earn.
To be eligible, you must have:
A valid Social Security Number (and Work Authorization if required)
Driver’s License
Ability to pass a drug test and background check before training
Your own white truck or van (or rent one from us for $150/week, pickup in Chicago)
Full set of coax tools, ladder, and PPE
Professional attitude, strong communication skills, and self-discipline
This is a full-time 1099 contract position with weekly direct deposit, stable year-round work, and no per diem or housing. However, we do offer a referral bonus: $500-$1,000.
