Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Acute Care Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Emergency Room Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Red Bank, NJ. Job Function: \n Night Shift. \n 3x12. \n Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions. \n Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience. \n Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing. \n Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures. \n \n \n Job Requirements: \n Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). \n \n Current state RN license or willingness to obtain. \n \n 2 years of Medical-Surgical Rehabilitation or Telemetry Registered Nurse experience required. \n \n BLS certification from the American Heart Association. \n \n ACLS certification from the American Heart Association. \n \n PALS certification from the American Heart Association. \n \n TNCC certification preferred. \n \n \n \nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
