Preskil Island Resort is looking for competent, committed, passionate, creative and enthusiastic candidate for the post of Barman

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Take guests’ order promptly and do the proper follow up
• Communicate with guests to obtain feedback and suggestions for improvement
• Checks stock levels of the bar, prepare requisitions and ensure that they are supplied on time.
• Presents bill to guests and ensure that they are signed and post same on the system
• Properly handles all materials and equipment to avoid breakages.
• Properly utilise all the materials and equipments made available to the bar and performs inventories.
• Ensure that closing down procedures are followed
• Attend daily briefings in his/her department
• Follow-up of all procedures as per SOP
• Regularly clears and cleans tables and the bar counter, and empties
• Performs "mise en place” of tables and the bar counter
• Neatly displays bottles and polished glasses on shelves as instructed
• Ensure cleanliness of furniture, fixtures and equipments in respective bar

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Form V
• NC3 / NC2 in Restaurant & Bar Service
• At least 2 years work-related experience in F&B operation as Assistant barman
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Personal Qualities: Organisational Skills, Creativity,Planning and good communication
