Job Description
Part-Time Learning Support Assistant
The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our SEN team on a part-time basis. You will work closely with pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and social communication difficulties, supporting their learning, emotional development, and social integration.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD and social communication needs
Implement tailored strategies to support learning and engagement
Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver personalised support plans
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment
Experience working with children in an SEN setting is essential
Understanding of ASD and social communication difficulties
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
