International manufacturer of energy management systems seeks to hire a "Head of Global Lean OpEx (m/f/d)" to drive further corporate process excellence programme across all German and international development centres and production sites. Position can be based near Berlin (Potsdam) or Freiburg i.Br.
Aufgabengebiet
Strategic Leadership & Enablement
- Design and execute the global Lean OpEx strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Lead global Lean transformation initiatives, maturity development, and cultural adoption.
- Manage the global Lean OpEx deployment and ensure strategic alignment with the overall QHS strategy.
- Drive change‑management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and methodologies.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with Safety, Production, Supply Chain, Industrialization, and Quality.
Capability Building & Organizational Development
- Establish the required continuous improvement capabilities across all global sites.
- Develop global standards, methodologies, digital tools, and shopfloor management systems.
- Create and maintain global QHS Lean OpEx documentation and standards.
- Deliver global training, workshops, and coaching programs to build sustainable Lean capabilities.
Process Optimization & Standardization
- Identify and implement process optimization opportunities across all operational areas.
- Drive global standardization and harmonization of the continuous improvement approach.
- Set up and monitor relevant KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of Lean OpEx initiatives.
- Accelerate global adoption of Lean best practices across functions and regions.
- Establish an effective framework for global knowledge sharing.
Anforderungsprofil
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Process Engineering, or a comparable technical field, plus several years of experience in a global manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in leading global Lean transformations and Kaikaku‑type breakthrough initiatives.
- Strong expertise in Lean principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies; Lean Black Belt / Lean Expert required.
- Ideally experienced with P&G Integrated Work Systems (IWS) and analytics tools such as Power BI or Minitab.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and team‑development skills.
- Highly analytical, structured, self-driven, and results-oriented with strong change‑management capabilities.
- Ability to influence and guide continuous‑improvement teams in a multinational environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French) are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally (25-40 %).
