As a technology leader in the field of neurosurgical implants, we develop and manufacture highly specialized solutions for the drainage of cerebrospinal fluid - with precision, innovative strength and responsibility for our patients suffering from hydrocephalus.

As a Mobile App Developer, you will make a significant contribution to this: You will plan and design a clean, maintainable software architecture and develop mobile applications in cross-platform environments.

• You will plan and design software architectures to ensure a clean, maintainable and modular code base and develop mobile applications in cross-platform environments with .NET / C#, especially using .NET MAUI and create internal project documentation according to our quality and regulatory requirements.
• You ensure reliable and secure communication of cross-platform functionalities with specific adaptations to target platforms (Android, iOS), including user interfaces, data processing, data storage and communication with medical devices, interfaces and cloud services in close coordination with electronics and firmware development.
• You ensure software quality through unit tests, integration and regression tests and software system tests as well as through the management of branches and releases, organization of app versions and publishing in app stores, as well as through the evaluation and elimination of known security vulnerabilities, analysis of log files and customer feedback.

• a degree, preferably in computer science, medical technology, software engineering or a comparable technical qualification
• at least 7 years of professional experience in mobile application development for Android and/or iOS with .NET MAUI and very good knowledge of object-oriented development with .NET / C#
• very good knowledge of writing clean, scalable, tested and carefully documented code as well as practical experience in building and operating CI/CD pipelines and in source code management with Git/GitLab
• experience with mobile device management using Samsung Knox, knowledge of developing software for medical devices (in particular IEC 62304, ISO 13485 and ideally ISO 14971) and good knowledge of software design, clean code, test-driven development (TDD) and agile development methods (Scrum/Kanban)
• ability and enjoyment of working independently in a creative and practice-oriented team environment, convincing and solution-oriented communication skills as well as hands-on mentality, conceptual thinking and analytical skills
• very good language skills in English, good language skills in German are desirable
