What you'll build
As an engineer in the SAP Research & Innovation team, you will contribute to the Embodied AI project as follows:
- Develop backend and frontend services on SAP BTP for embodied AI use cases, combining SAP applications, agentic AI, and cognitive robots
- Learn and apply SAP’s AI architecture strategy to engineering deliverables, including latest AI tooling
- Learn and apply enterprise-level software standards in security, quality, and performance to engineering deliverables
- Support data engineering pipelines combining physical world & business application data
- Collaborate cross-functionally and across teams
- Contribute to event and customer showcase demos
What you bring
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: Computer science, machine learning, software engineering, cyberphysical systems, or related field
- Required technical skills: TypeScript, Python, Node.JS
- Language skills: English (fluent)
- Required: Hands-on experience on software engineering or AI-related projects in a university/personal/professional context
- Nice to have: Interest/experience with agent development, multi-agent systems, microservice development, physical AI, robotics; SAP-specific technical skills (e.g., BTP, HANA, CAP)
- Able to commute to Potsdam / Berlin
