About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager to oversee a well-established Children's Residential Home in Wisbech, rated "Good" by Ofsted.
The home supports up to six children and is backed by two highly experienced Deputy Managers, providing a strong foundation for success.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' senior experience within a children's residential setting.
- Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce.
- Completed or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People).
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Full understanding of safeguarding legislation and children's home regulations.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to work on-call as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding care and support, ensuring the best possible outcomes for each child.
- Manage day-to-day operations, staffing, quality assurance, and service development.
- Lead and empower the team, providing ongoing training, mentoring, and development.
- Maintain full regulatory compliance and champion safeguarding best practices.
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and drive continuous improvement.
