What we expect
- Project Management: Coordinate the successful implementation of Controlling projects within the ams OSRAM group, which include other workstreams like Finance, IT, SCM/Logistics etc.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead the Controlling process workstream for initatives led by other teams, actively participate in all project phases ensuring seamless integration and provide or collect relevant content related to Controlling
- Concept Development: Design and execute advanced Controlling concepts for various projects or enhancements, driving time and cost efficiency
- Expert Support: Provide Level 2 Support for resolve operational incidents and structural challenges linked to Controlling tools and processes, applying specialized CO knowledge
- Strategic Initiatives: Manage Controlling-related components of Carve-outs, new company code roll-outs, M&A activities, and process improvements, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and effective execution
- Operations: Contribute to Period-End Closing activities and Fiscal Year Change processes, supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting
Who we are looking for
- University Degree in Economics, Finance or similar
- Proven, in-depth experience in controlling coupled with several years of experience in production/corporate/financial controlling
- Excellent understanding of controlling functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in project management is an advantage
- Advanced SAP knowledge (especially Controlling modules)
- Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with BW / BI reporting tools and Power BI for data analysis and visualization is an advantage
- Independent and proactive workstyle, team spirit and hands-on mentality
- Fluent in English, German a plus
