What you will enjoy doing

• You will manage the global insurance programs and policies of the Linde Engineering Division and work closely with colleagues in supporting the wider insurance structures of Linde plc
• You will provide advice for commercial and technical departments on insurance issues and related liability matters with a special emphasis on insurance in an international construction environment
• Furthermore, you will review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts and insurance policies
• You will support the Procurement department in equipment procurement contracts and insurance-related logistics, the Construction department in construction contracts, the Contract Management department regarding E/EP/EPC projects, as well as the Project Management during all project phases
• You will manage the handling of insurance claims and handle administrative insurance tasks, such as insurer notifications, accounting and reporting
• You will also support and contribute to insurance and risk initiatives (not related to specific transactions) including reporting system, insurance training, standard contracts review, guidelines and essentials for contracting

What makes you great

• You have a legal qualification (Volljurist/in) or a comparable academic degree, such as Economics, combined with substantial experience in insurance law. Alternatively, you may have completed a vocational education in insurance as a Versicherungskaufmann/frau (m/f/d) and bringing practical expertise and in-depth knowledge
• Further, you bring more than five years of industry experience—whether in a law firm, insurance company, or relevant business sector
• You have hands-on knowledge of major international EPC projects and understand industrial insurance, including EAR, Third Party Liability, and Transport insurance
• You have strong legal contract and analytical skills
• Moreover, you understand legal and commercial risks and can effectively balance them with business benefits
• You have worked internationally and enjoy collaborating across cultures and functions
• You are open-minded, creative, and results-orientated
• Also, you are fluent in both German and English and communicate effectively in both languages
