Your duties:
Accounts Receivable (Debitorenbuchhaltung):
Accounts Payable (Kreditorenbuchhaltung):
Travel & Credit Card Expense Management (AMEX):
Asset Accounting:
Lease Accounting (IFRS 16):
Liquidity & Reporting Support:
Other Accounting Tasks:
Accounts Receivable (Debitorenbuchhaltung):
- Posting of bank statements
- Dunning and reminders
- Handling customer inquiries
- Account management and reconciliation
Accounts Payable (Kreditorenbuchhaltung):
- Booking and payment of incoming invoices
Travel & Credit Card Expense Management (AMEX):
- Review and posting of travel expense reports
- Booking of credit card statements
Asset Accounting:
- Maintenance and booking of fixed assets
- Preparation of fixed asset register (Anlagenspiegel)
- Reconciliation during monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Lease Accounting (IFRS 16):
- Recording and ongoing valuation of lease contracts
- Creating lease postings in SAP (REFX module)
Liquidity & Reporting Support:
- Backup support for liquidity planning
Other Accounting Tasks:
- Posting transactions for Japanese bank accounts
- Reporting of withholding tax (Quellensteuer)
Your profile:
- Completed commercial training or degree in economics
- Professional experience in accounting appropriate for the position, ideally in an international environment
- Good written and spoken German and English
- Strong numerical skills, analytical and process-oriented approach to work, and accuracy
- Good communication skills and team spirit
- Experience in working with SAP S4 / HANA is a plus
- Confident handling of MS Office 365, especially MS Excel
