Responsibilities
- PLC Hardware & Software: Specify, design, install, and maintain PLC hardware/software and AOI systems to meet production and safety requirements.
- Programming & Graphics: Develop and optimize PLC software, HMI/graphics, and automation controls for new projects and upgrades.
- System Optimization: Plan, draft, design, and calculate control software solutions; optimize control technology of machines and systems for efficiency and reliability.
- Safety Systems: Implement and maintain safety PLC control technology and compliance with regulations using Beckhoff TwinSafe or PILZ.
- Cross-functional Collaboration & Technical Support: Participate in projects with engineering, provide troubleshooting with technical support to operations/maintenance teams to resolve system operation and hardware issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Engineer (Electrical engineer, Automation/ Mechatronics)
- Minimum 2 years experience in automated control systems and PLCs programming in production environment
- Drive engineering & motion control
- Machine Safety PLC control technology & regulations – using Beckhoff, TwinSafe or PILZ
- PLC programming – Beckhoff
- Industrial Fieldbus systems such as EtherCAT or similar
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Structured approach
- Able to work under pressure
