Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or equivalent technical diploma with proven industrial automation experience.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in PLC and HMI programming, preferably in machine building or the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in major PLC platforms, such as Siemens (TIA Portal, Step 7), Beckhoff, or Allen-Bradley, and familiarity with industrial fieldbus systems like Profinet or EtherCAT.
- Strong understanding of automation components, including servo drives, sensors, and robotics, with experience in commissioning and troubleshooting during ramp-up phases.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, apply safety and industrial standards (e.g., CE, ISO 12100), and communicate effectively in English with international teams. Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced control systems for assembly and test equipment, ensuring compliance with internal standards and technical feasibility.
- Create, present, and refine machine control concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement optimal automation solutions.
- Program and integrate PLC sequences and HMI interfaces, based on mechanical and functional specifications, while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Commission and troubleshoot automation components, including servo drives, robots, and industrial communication systems, ensuring full operational readiness.
- Document control systems and maintain traceability, including special routines and capability checks, through structured technical documentation.
