Qualifications

• Hold a degree in IT, Telecommunications or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience of hands-on experience configuring and managing Cisco Wi-Fi platforms (switches, access points, routers)
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (Cisco Catalyst Center, SolarWinds)
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts (VLANs, routing, DHCP/DNS)
• Strong knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards, RF fundamentals and spectrum management
• Skilled in packet analysis and troubleshooting complex wireless issues and experience in high-density Wi-Fi design
• Excellent English language skills (written and spoken) and excellent communication skills in a global environment

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and implement enterprise WiFi networks, including coverage, capacity and high-density environments
• Maintain full system lifecycle support together with external operations partner and local IT
• Monitor, maintain and optimize wireless performance across multiple sites
• Troubleshoot connectivity, roaming, authentication and RF interference issues
• Follow ITIL processes for incident resolution, problem management and change approvals
• Document network designs, standards and troubleshooting procedures
• Evaluate emerging wireless technologies
• Act as a subject matter expert for Wi-Fi within the IT organization
