Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Rostock | Type: Full-time | Contract: Permanent

Your Responsibilities:
* Develop functional and system designs for ship automation systems
* Prepare technical drawings and documentation for production using CAD tools (E-Plan and WSCAD)
* Maintain and update existing CAD systems
* Modify parameters and functions based on specific customer requirements
* Collaborate closely with internal teams (workshop, R&D, service) to ensure efficient, timely, and technically accurate project execution
* Assist in creating system-related documentation and descriptive materials

Your Profile:
* Completed training as a technical draftsman, electrical engineering technician, or a degree in electrical engineering
* Proven experience in CAD-based design of control cabinets and automation systems
* Solid expertise in project planning, construction, and interdisciplinary coordination is a strong plus
* Fluency in both German and English is required
