As the Business & Customer Insights Manager, you are the primary Business Partner for the BU Management and PM-Team for (strategic) analytics regarding market, competitor and customer insights. Based on detailed quantitative as well as qualitative analyses (external and internal sources) you define clear recommendations for go-to-market approach, resource allocation as well as M&S execution.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Systematic generation of insights and recommendations for the Business Units and the leadership teams
Ensuring the correctness of the compilation and monthly analysis of market data including dashboards, and deduction of actionable insights
Creation of actionable ad hoc market, product and business analysis based on internal and external data
Creating insights presentations for the marketing and sales leadership team
Leading insights projects for the business unit and deriving recommendations for the go-to-market model and resource allocation both for base portfolio and key launches
Identification & reporting of key trends and growth opportunities
Steering and coordination of projects with other markets, shared service departments or agencies (e.g. market research)
Ensuring alignment of insights and dashboards structure with the go to market model
Close collaboration across teams and functions (SFE, Data Management, BPA, Portfolio and Launch locally and within Region Europe)
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
University degree in business administration or comparable studies
5+ years of experience in Pharma industry or Consulting
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to independently perform analyses across financial, market and activity data in Excel to extract relevant insight for the business
Structured way of working and ability navigate complexity as well as connect insights needs with processes and data bases
Strong communication skills and ability to hold presentations both to operational and top management levels
A willingness to do "doer-tasks", as well as high-level strategic tasks, necessary to support and help the business
A collaborative nature and good ability to work in teams with effective communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English
Desirable Requirements:
Proficiency in German & French
Knowledge of QlikCloud (or other data visualization tools)
Experience in Matrix organizations
