The Market Access & Corporate Affairs Manager develops and executes national market access as well as pricing and reimbursement (P&R) strategies. The role also designs and delivers impactful communication channels and activities to strengthen awareness of our strategic priorities. The overall goal is to ensure fast, broad, and sustainable patient access to Sandoz medicines through effective engagement with key stakeholders.
This position reports to the Senior Market Access & Health Policy Manager and works in close collaboration with the Head Corporate Affairs Switzerland.
Major accountabilities:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Pricing & Reimbursement (P&R)
Lead the annual price review process for the Sandoz portfolio.
Maintain and evolve P&R tools and systems for accurate and efficient data handling.
Market Access Strategy & Execution
Identify and address access hurdles in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide early input into P&R strategies, financial planning, and business decisions.
Assess market dynamics, competitor activities, and policy developments to adapt business strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement, Evidence, Insights & Communication
Engage with FOPH to support reimbursement, cost-effectiveness discussions, and strategic positioning.
Communicate insights clearly to internal stakeholders and contribute to key strategic decisions.
Storytelling
Develop compelling corporate affairs stories grounded in data-driven insights.
Support the preparation of briefings for public appearances by key representatives.
Communicate our narratives effectively across relevant communication channels.
Work closely with the broader Corporate Affairs team to ensure consistent and coherent messaging.
Communication Project and Channel Management
Establish and further develop communication channels to strengthen awareness of our strategic priorities.
Plan and execute engagements and appearances of key Sandoz representatives at events and public–facing platforms.
Ensure consistent and audience-focused communication across all relevant channels.
Develop new corporate publications and social media formats.
Manage and guiding external agencies in the execution of projects.
Minimum Requirements:
What you’ll bring to the role:
University degree in Natural Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Corporate Affairs, Communications, Healthcare, Economics, or equivalent.
Full professional proficiency in German and English; French is an advantage.
2–4 years of experience in Pharma, Life Sciences, Market Access, Corporate Affairs, Communications, Health Insurance, or Health Policy (advantage).
Solid understanding of the Swiss healthcare system, regulatory environment, and reimbursement processes.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex scientific, economic, and policy topics clearly and convincingly.
Proven storytelling abilities to craft compelling, audience-relevant narratives (a plus).
Experience in managing and optimizing communication channels across different formats and platforms, including Social Media channels.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to build trust-based relationships with health authorities, insurers, and other key stakeholders.
