Under the supervision of the Document Management Lead, the Document Management Technician applies document management procedures and standards within the context of a construction project, in compliance with contractual requirements.

What you will do
• Administer the electronic document management platform;
• Manage user access and permissions;
• Apply the document coding and identification system;
• Ensure that document management processes are properly followed;
• Act as a resource person for users of the document management platform;
• Perform document control on hospital equipment deliverables, plans, and specifications, and ensure their distribution to the relevant stakeholders;
• Assist stakeholders in locating and retrieving project documents within the document management system;
• Participate in the improvement of internal electronic document management processes;
• Set up and organize the handover of end‑of‑project documentation to the client.
This role could be for you if you have
• University degree in archival studies, information management, library science, documentation, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in document management and in the use of classification systems and electronic document management systems within construction environments or civil engineering projects.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency with document management tools and platforms, including Procore, Extract Pro, and CxAlloy.
• Ability to conduct document monitoring, analyze information needs, and ensure data quality.
• Understanding of version control principles and revision management.
• Ability to create, maintain, and structure registers, matrices, and document inventories.
• Basic knowledge of technical documents, including plans, specifications, and reports.
Soft Skills
• Excellent organizational skills, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and synthesis abilities.
• Autonomy, proactiveness, and initiative.
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey information clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external teams.
• Professionalism and respect for document confidentiality.
