We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Logistics & Sales Order Coordinator to support our daily order fulfilment and shipping operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, product-driven environment and ensuring smooth customer deliveries.
You will be responsible for processing incoming sales orders, preparing shipments, tracking deliveries, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our logistics processes.
The position offers the potential for increased workload and an expanded scope of responsibilities over time, depending on performance and interest.
Location: Rümlang, CH.
Workload: 50–60% (flexible schedule possible).
Starting date: Oct 2025.
Tasks
- Process customer sales orders in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch.
- Pick and pack products according to order specifications and apply correct carrier labels.
- Coordinate with carriers for shipping, including booking pickups and managing tracking numbers.
- Track delivery progress and proactively handle any issues or delays in communication with carriers or customers.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records in the system.
- Monitor shipping KPIs (e.g. delivery times, damage claims, returns) and assist in generating monthly reports.
- Propose and help implement process improvements in the packing and shipping workflow.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in logistics, order fulfilment, or a similar hands-on operations role.
- Attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable with basic physical activity (e.g., packing, handling light boxes).
- Strong communication skills in English (German or French is a plus).
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with ERP systems and carrier platforms (e.g., DHL, Swiss Post, UPS, etc.).
- Experience in a product-based or e-commerce company.
- Knowledge of inventory or warehouse processes.
