Supplier Quality Engineer
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensuring the required quality of delivery parts / components (product and service)
- Ensuring the customer requirements on delivery parts / components
- Supports CM, Global SQE and Strategic Buyer to optimize supplier base
- Negotiate supplier quality agreements
- Reduction of failure costs
- Reduction of special release and efforts for the incoming inspections
- Supplier monitoring
- Audit and visit planning in coordination with Global SQE
- Perform Supplier audits
- PPA review
- Action tracking (Audit, 8D, etc.)
- Processing and prioritizing the described tasks on their own responsibility
- Quality responsibility with strategic buyer for all local suppliers
This job is exactly right for you if you have:
- English language skills (negotiation level)
- Technical degree (electrical / mechatronic /mechanical engineer)
- Quality assurance degree is an advantage
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SQE position in an international manufacturing company
- Experience in supplier auditing (VDA 6.3)
- Willingness to travel
- Good communication and negotiation skills
