Job Responsibilities:
Your Responsibilities
- Development, communication and implementation of business and supply-chain-processes, logistics concepts and change management strategies that support, enhance and improve overall operational performance
- Provide leadership and technical expertise and s erves as a key contact within the organization for all supply-chain, transportation and logistics related issues; closely works with Senior Management / Division Management to establish strategic plans and objectives
- Development and operationalization of cost-effective supply-chain, transportation and logistics solutions that create "win-win” partnerships with company businesses, transporters and end-use customers
- Responsibility for initiation of new logistics projects; manages budgeting and budget execution to maximize financial results, leads contract negotiations; defines KPIs; steers and controls running costs
Who we are looking for
- Strong communication and negotiation skills , a bility to communicate with various interest groups
- High degree of self-motivation, hands-on approach and ability to work on own initiative
- Methodical, structured and systematic working approach and good analytical skills
- Ability to analyze existing organizational structures, operational procedure and business processes and seize opportunities to improve them continuously
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Your preferred qualifications
- Graduate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or comparable education
- Business fluent English language skills; any other language would be an asset
- Several years of work experience in high volume automotive manufacturing environment, ideally Just in Time / Just in Sequence, with project management responsibility / logistics planning / managerial and leadership experience
- Profound knowledge of logistics related work- and management systems and tools (Lean Logistics, Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.)
