REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Manager Facilities in Winston Salem,NC.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Work both in a team environment and independently to identify facility and process issues, determine possible solutions, evaluate costs and benefits of the credible alternatives, choose the appropriate resolution, and implement while working in an operating manufacturing environment.
- Act as a technical resource supporting the project teams and maintenance organizations within the Corporation providing leadership and direction relative to facilities concerns.
- Work with outside contractors and vendors to estimate, schedule and implement projects.
- Direct facilities operations to insure protection of company assets. Proactively evaluate facilities and related equipment to judge remaining useful life and determine appropriate schedules and budgets for replacement to ensure integrity of the working environment.
- Responsible for technical assignments that further develop the engineering and interpersonal skills.
- Ensure standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria are used by the team using experience and judgment to make adaptations and modifications.
What are we looking for?
- High School diploma or. Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Technical, Business, Management with 3 to 7 years of work experience years progressive work experience
- Previous experience managing industrial and corporate facilities
- Project management skills with the ability to lead or support the execution of multiple simultaneous projects
- Exceptional analytical problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Expertise in engineering practices, standards, design principles, and environmental requirements
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance and construction techniques
- Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.) and the ability to quickly learn new computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
