TALENTED, AMBITIOUS AND READY FOR A NEW CHALLENGE? We are currently looking for a business minded and technical competent discipline leader at electrical engineering for Davits.
Your responsibilities:
- Responsible for the coordination of the electrical engineering discipline group for R&D projects on davits in the marine industry.
- Technical support of electrical discipline engineers, optimizing technical department processes, considering customer requirements, and international standards and regulations.
- Establish standards for main design processes and support the development of electrical systems, ensuring the implementation of system requirements derived from applicable standards and regulations, such as functional safety.
- Support the development of cost efficient and modularized subsystems, in cooperation with the responsible partners.
- Cooperate with the electrical discipline engineers to ensure assigned projects meet customer and company’s objectives.
Your qualifications:
- Required educational level is minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical school (HTL) or similar
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering. Experience from maritime is an advantage, but not a must.
- Deep knowledge in electric system designs, including electro-hydraulic power units and electrical drive systems, as well as expertise in the selection and dimensioning of electrical components and schemes.
- Advanced knowledge of common tools like E-PLAN 8 and knowledge about ERP (SAP, ProFile), CAD (preferably CREO / Autocad) and PDM tools (Siemens Team Center)
- Good English skills, verbal and written and good German skills is a must.

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 66,816.35 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
