Über diesen Job
Are you eager to gain hands-on experience in portfolio management while working in a global finance environment? Do you enjoy structure, documentation, and data, and have a keen eye for detail and accuracy?
As a Portfolio Intern in Global Finance, you'll support our Portfolio Management function with demand intake, portfolio overviews, and the preparation of decision materials. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues from Finance, Sales, Operations, IT and our Global Data team, gaining valuable insight into how a global portfolio is managed and governed.
In this role, you’ll help create transparency across our project and initiative portfolio and contribute to high-quality documentation and reporting that enable informed decisions at governance boards.
We are looking for a motivated talent who can start in March/April 2026 for six months.
Areas that play to your strengths
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
You’ll support the structured documentation of new demands and requests, ensuring information is complete and accurate. In doing so, you’ll contribute to transparency and consistency in our portfolio pipeline.
You’ll assist in preparing and updating portfolio overviews and transparency reports, helping stakeholders understand key initiatives, priorities, and status across the portfolio.
You’ll maintain and update documentation for decision boards and governance forums. This includes preparing and structuring content and data so that decision-makers have clear, reliable, and well-organized information.
Where needed, you’ll provide structured support to programs and projects, for example through coordination tasks, simple analyses, or content preparation. This will give you exposure to common project and portfolio processes and tools.
You’ll support the creation and formatting of presentations, decision papers, and other materials, helping to translate complex topics into clear and concise documents for management.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Ongoing university studies in business, economics, IT, business informatics, or a similar field
- Very good command of English; German is an advantage but not a must
- Confident use of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, is a plus
- Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working style
- Basic analytical skills and confidence working with data and documentation
- Strong willingness to learn and develop in portfolio and project-related topics
- Clear and professional communication skills in an international environment
- Proactive, hands-on mindset and readiness to support wherever needed within the portfolio team
