What you'll do

Are you interested in advancing your skills in cloud solution development? We are currently seeking a proactive and adaptable student to join our Advanced Commodity Risk Analytics (ACRA) team. In this position, you will receive training to contribute to the development of products that utilize cloud-native technologies, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence, supporting commodity businesses in managing trading risks and enabling data-driven decision-making.

Your tasks will include:

• Collaborating on cloud software development tasks, such as implementing new features
• Creating test cases and compiling quality assurance reports
• Assisting with research initiatives on emerging topics

As a member of the ACRA team:

• You will directly support SAP's mission to help the world run better and improve people’s lives
• You will work within an innovative environment alongside a dedicated and motivated team
• You will have the opportunity to develop programming and your intercultural skills and competencies

What you bring

Your Profile:

• Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program at a university or university of applied sciences
• Languages: Good communication skills in both German and English (written and verbal)
• Technical Skills: Foundational programming knowledge in Java, Node.js, JavaScript, or SQL, with a strong motivation to learn and develop new skills
• Analytical Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Availability: A genuine interest in a long-term role (minimum of 3 semesters), as we are committed to your professional growth and integration into our team
• Bonus Qualifications: Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) is a plus

As part of the Advanced Commodity Risk Analytics (ACRA) team, you will contribute to developing a new solution that combines cloud-native technologies, analytics, and AI. This solution empowers commodity businesses to manage increasing trading risks while fostering data-driven decision-making.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
