We are looking for an experienced JAVA developer to work on the core functionalities of our cloud solution for Human Capital Management: SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.

What you`ll do:

As a Developer (f/m/d) you will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle for our business application.

You will be responsible for:

• Design and development on new product features and bug fixes as part of an experienced scrum team by contributing software design, clean code, and automated tests to ensure quality and maintainability or our product.
• Collaborating closely with all stakeholders in the development process within and outside your scrum team including Architects, Scrum Masters, Engineers, Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and User Assistance Developers.
• Helping the team improve by bringing in new ideas to enhance existing processes.
• Working with DevOps methodologies and tools to establish and execute a flawless development process.

What you bring:

• Strong programming skills in JAVA and knowledge about agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Software Design Patterns and RESTfull APIs.
• Proven experience with frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, CSS, and modern web tooling would be a plus
• At least 5 years of experience in cloud software development process.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to learn quickly.
• High level of team orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and solution oriented. Experience in application development, especially in the Human Capital Management (HCM) area is an advantage.
• Fluency both written and spoken in English; German language skills (>B1) are highly appreciated.
