Who are we looking for? The ideal candidate is creative, community driven, people-centered, socially conscious, a leader, team player and is skilled in fostering relationships. This individual should be organized, a self-starter, a strong communicator, able to effectively manage varied tasks and timelines, and conduct administrative tasks.
Position Summary This is a part-time, average 10-15 hours/month position to help manage our annual finances, reconcile all accounts, and put in place best practices by creating a financial policies and procedures manual. Our annual budget for 2024 was $750K+ and projected at $800K in 2025. Note: The hours to start will be more than the average 10-15 hours/month to include work sessions involving the transfer of processes and procedures; and developing a comprehensive financial manual for the organization.

Duties and responsibilities:
The bookkeeper will manage our annual revenue in Quickbooks and process bi-weekly payroll. Reconcile all accounts (ex: bank, cc, review reports, revenue/expense reports, balance sheets (showing liabilities and assets) every end of the month. We have two major online fundraising events; in May and in November - it would be important for the bookkeeper/accountant to maintain all donations raised during these two events. Produce quarterly and annual reports for stakeholders and funders to help increase our Organization development. If certified Accountant, they will also file our annual 501c3 taxes and perform all other duties outlined. The expectations of the work setting would be hybrid and required in-person meetings with the Executive Director at our St. Paul Office: 540 Fairview Avenue North, Suite #209, St. Paul, MN 55104 once a month.

Minimum Education and Experience A combined minimum of 2+ years of experience in the following: reconciling accounts: bank, cc, review reports, revenue/expense reports, balance sheets (showing liabilities and assets), Quickbooks . Comparable experience in terms of time and background in similar fields and education/degrees will be considered.
