Minnesota Department of Health is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team in supporting the financial operations of the Health Regulation Division (HRD).
The position is responsible for processing and depositing revenue received through HRD activities, including fees and fines. Key duties include reconciling daily deposits, verifying fee calculations, updating licensing information, and maintaining accurate financial records.
The position supports internal teams and external stakeholders and plays a vital role in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial transactions related to credentialing and provider licensing.
This posting will be used to fill two positions. Both positions are located in St. Paul and the selected candidates will be required to work from the St. Paul office location.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with accounting, budgeting or expense reporting to sufficiently and accurately prepare deposits, process paper checks and refunds, online payments and additional financial tasks as assigned.
- Data entry and database management skills sufficient to accurately access and enter data.
- Ability to use word processing and spreadsheet software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous accounts receivable/payable experience.
- Knowledge of credentialing, provider types and licensing processes.
- Demonstrated ability handling confidential financial data and client information with discretion and in compliance with privacy regulations and company policies.
