Job Description
Integres is seeking a senior-level Oracle Database Administrator. This resource will provide Oracle database administration across three agencies, each with competing priorities and increased demand for modernization and database support.
Responsibilities:
Support implementation of system modernization efforts across multiple agencies.
Design, establish, and maintain database structures, views, and data integrity.
Develop and implement new Oracle database environments.
Support concurrent cycles of development and deployment, including QA, performance/load testing, troubleshooting, and training.
Evaluate, recommend, install, test, and maintain Oracle database-related software and hardware products.
Conduct database deployments in new and existing environments.
Develop automation scripts for routine DBA tasks.
Provide Tier II support: resolve break/fix tickets, troubleshoot environment issues, and handle database support requests.
Collaborate with developers, QA, business analysts, and project managers on Oracle database projects.
Address and resolve Oracle database security findings from audits.
Transfer knowledge and provide training/documentation to state staff.
Deliver reliable and flexible technology solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications
Advanced/Expert-level experience in Oracle Database Administration.
Strong scripting skills for automation and database task management.
Proven experience with IBM Rational Change and Configuration Management (CCM).
Demonstrated success resolving Oracle database security audit findings.
Hands-on expertise in planning and implementing technology solutions.
Strong background collaborating with QA, business analysts, and performance/load testing teams.
Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex Oracle database issues.
