We are seeking a Product Artwork Design Lead to join our Digital Operations and Technical Services (DOTS) organization. This role is pivotal in supporting/
driving high standard designs for secondary packaging graphics of new product launches within our Product Artwork (PA) team, ensuring brand consistency and scalable design.

The selected candidate will serve as a Design Lead, shaping early secondary packaging development by integrating graphic design, production‑ready artwork standards, and usability principles. This role will develop Product Artwork Design guidelines and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable solutions.
The candidate will foster strong collaboration and build strategic alliances across Global Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and external business partners to leverage expertise, resources, and best practices. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Product Artwork Design Lead will partner with different functions within Product Artwork,
Manufacturing, Packaging CoE, Regulatory, Global Commercial Strategic Organization, Packaging Sites, Local Regulatory teams, to:
Lead creation of Global Design Intents and Guidelines for secondary packaging graphics that meet the needs of our customers and ensure compliance with Health Authority regulations, Corporate and Brand guidance.
Support design of Instructions for Use (IFUs).
The Product Artwork Design Lead will lead creation and ensure compliance of the Global Design Intent files and Product Artwork Design guidelines and guide the Product Artwork coordination team to create design compliant mock-ups and production artworks.
Oversee and preserve cohesive design execution in line with established brand strategy for all existing artworks
Ensure consistency for Product Artwork requirements as well as Johnson & Johnson product brand positioning.
Lead development and refinement of uniform product artwork standards, customer requirements and visual brand strategies.
Own internal Product Artwork approval of mock-up and artwork prior to HA approval (FDA/EMA)
Manage transfer of ownership for Product Artwork Design to the Product Artwork coordination team after HA approval (FDA/EMA) to allow them to create production artworks (build Product Artwork design guidelines, explain the Product Artwork design, HF study outcomes, critical elements, etc.)
Work closely with the Product Artwork Excellence team for all quality & compliance related events and training content related to Product Artwork Design.
Minimum Qualification
Broad Experience in Graphic Design, innovative thinking and cultural trends to guide solutions.
Proven capability to deliver flawless production‑ready artwork through rigorous attention to detail and technical accuracy.
Understanding of customer insights, based on Human Factor studies and ability to apply and translate those insights into Design strategies.
Demonstrate strong visual, written, and oral communication skills to lead and execute projects.
Experience in working in a multinational environment and dealing with complex stakeholder management
Understanding customer insights and marketing strategy and ability to apply and translate those into Design strategies.
Ability to express yourself and present in English, tell a story and engage stakeholders
Good presentation skills
Creative thinker who can communicate effectively with a wide range of people
Problem solving personality
Project management experience
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Design, Corporate Identity, Marketing or some other business related field is required.
6+ years related experience in Graphic Design in a design agency or related industry.
Languages:
Excellent storytelling and presentation skills in English and the ability to engage partners
Specific Systems:
Professional experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Additional Information
Communication: Build strong alliances across various stakeholders and teams to ensure seamless workflow and effective communication.
The anticipated Compensation is 94,000-144,500.
