PALFINGER is searching for a Customer Service Representative. This position is located in Huntley, IL. This position reports to the Regional Spare Parts Manager.
Your Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone calls, e-mails, fax, and walk-in customers regarding price and availability and advise customers on substitution parts as needed.
- Ensure proper entry of received customer orders to confirm all required detail is present at time of order acceptance and communicate additional requirements to dealers when/where necessary.
- Provide dealers with latest parts delivery status and shipping information and expedite back-ordered parts.
- Educate customers on standing spare parts department, sales orders, and return policies.
- Work with Service/Shop Manager/Vendors for required production support and provide parts application diagrams and photos when necessary.
Your Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Diploma/certification in a technical field or Customer Service preferred.
- Mechanical experience/knowledge is preferred.
- Five (5) years’ experience in an industrial product’s spare parts sales environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of spare parts operations within dealer parts and service department levels.
