European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH (EAT) is a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group. We are both a maintenance company and a cargo airline and are currently responsible for the aircraft maintenance of 32 Airbus A300-600, 5 Airbus A330, 32 Boeing B757, 26 Boeing B767 and 24 Boeing B777 at our locations in Leipzig, Frankfurt, Cologne and throughout Europe.

YOUR TASKS
The Base Maintenance Process & Data Engineer is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and digitizing maintenance processes within Base Maintenance. By leveraging data and developing efficient process solutions, this role significantly contributes to improving productivity, quality, and regulatory compliance
Process Analysis & Optimization
- Identify improvement opportunities in existing maintenance processes
- Develop and implement standardized, digitally supported workflows
- Support the implementation of Lean Maintenance principles
Data Management & Reporting
- Build and maintain data models for process monitoring and control
- Create dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Ensure data quality and integrity in maintenance systems
System Integration & Digitalization
- Collaborate with IT and Engineering to integrate new tools and systems (e.g., AMOS, BI solutions)
- Support the rollout of digital workflows and mobile applications
- Contribute to the further development of maintenance IT systems
Interface Management
- Work closely with Engineering, Planning, Quality Assurance, and Line Maintenance
- Support audits and regulatory requirements through data-driven documentation
Maintenance Planning Support
- Collaborate with Planning teams to improve work package creation, task sequencing, and resource allocation
- Analyze historical data to support predictive planning and capacity forecasting
- Creation of work packages and provision to the relevant MRO
- Ensure proper and cost controlled Base Maintenance Work Packages
- Creation of a preload for spare parts required for base maintenance events and ensure forwarding and processing to logistics department
- Controlling of Work progress
- Contribute to the development of planning KPIs and performance dashboards
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in aircraft maintenance, ideally in Base Maintenance
- Knowledge of process management, Lean methodologies, and data analysis
- Proficiency in maintenance software (e.g., AMOS) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong analytical thinking, structured working style, and high initiative
Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
