, we contribute to the development and application of quantum technologies by offering innovative and sustainable cooling solutions based on our unique magnetic cooling technology.
Within the EIC Pathfinder project LEMON , we are developing scalable continuous Adiabatic Demagnetization Refrigeration (cADR) for quantum computing and other ultra-low temperature applications.
To support our growing R&D activities, we are looking for a motivated Working Student (f/m/d) for 12-20 hours per week who is eager to contribute hands-on to the development of advanced cryogenic infrastructure.

To support our growing R&D activities, we are looking for a motivated Working Student (f/m/d) for 12-20 hours per week who is eager to contribute hands-on to the development of advanced cryogenic infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- You support the development and validation of cryogenic subsystems
- You assist in setting up experiments, performing millikelvin measurements, and analyzing data
- You contribute to CAD design and the technical documentation of components and assemblies
- You support system integration activities for the LEMON demonstrators
- You prepare technical documentation and internal reports
Requirements
- You are currently an enrolled student in physics, quantum science & technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, materials science, or a related field
- You have a strong interest in cryogenics, quantum technologies, or deep-tech hardware systems
- You have a hands-on mindset and enjoy working in lab and workshop environments
- You work in a structured, independent, and reliable manner
- You have experience with at least one of the following:
- CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion, or similar)
- Experimental physics or laboratory measurements
- Data analysis (Python, MATLAB, or similar)
- Vacuum or cryogenic systems (a plus)
- You have very good English skills (German is a plus)
