Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a highly experiencedSenior Cyber Security Engineerto lead the development of our cybersecurity strategy and roadmap for autonomous technologies. This critical role will be pivotal in shaping the security architecture and controls for our next-generation autonomous systems.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise from theautomotive, mobility, or related high integrity industries, with a proven track record of delivering cybersecurity frameworks for autonomous, safety critical platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and develop the cybersecurity strategy and roadmapfor autonomous systems, aligning with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Act as theprimary security lead for autonomy initiatives, collaborating closely with engineering, software and security teams.
- Establish security by design principlesthroughout the product lifecycle – from concept, architecture, and design through to deployment and maintenance.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams toperform risk assessments, threat modeling, and security testing(eg, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning).
- Develop and maintainsecure coding practices, secure communication protocols, and over-the-air update mechanismsfor autonomous platforms.
- Stay up to date with evolving threats, technologies, andregulatory standards
- Engage with external partners, suppliers, and regulators toensure end to end cybersecurity complianceacross the autonomy ecosystem.
Your Profile
- 7+ years of experiencein cybersecurity roles.
- Prior experience in theautomotive, aerospace, defense OR robotics, within autonomy programs.
- Strong understanding ofembedded system security, including real-time operating systems (RTOS), CAN/Ethernet protocols, and hardware security modules (HSMs).
- Demonstrated experience indeveloping or implementing cybersecurity frameworkssuch as ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 26262, or similar.
- Deep knowledge ofthreat modeling methodologies, such as STRIDE or DREAD.
- Strong communication skills and the ability toinfluence technical and strategic decisionsat the executive level.
