For the newly established Data Analytics & Reporting department in Automotive Finance & Controlling, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect. The major responsibility is to harmonize the current system landscape and design & maintain the application landscape to be future proof and fullfills the requirements of a data platform which can be used by the Data analytics & reporting community, but also from Business and IT.

Main Tasks:

• Design robust financial systems and applications that meet the strategic needs of the organization
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of automotive financial systems.
• Integrate financial systems with other business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
• Work closely with finance and executive teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Liaise with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and maintenance of financial systems.
• Lead the implementation of new financial systems and applications.
• Oversee system upgrades and enhancements to improve functionality and performance.
• Ensure ongoing maintenance and support of financial systems.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Implement data governance policies and practices.
• Ensure financial systems comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial systems and data.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in financial systems.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field
• Several years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
• Proven experience in designing and building scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Experience with data integration from various sources and managing large datasets
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Experience with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects
• Experience in working in international and intercultural teams preferred
