Digital Solution Manager - Tax & Treasury – Automotive Business
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Application Specialist to join our Finance IT team, focusing on the support and continuous improvement of Tax and Treasury applications within our S/4 HANA ERP landscape.
In this role, you will act as the key interface between IT and our Finance departments, ensuring stability, compliance, and performance of critical financial systems.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional IT teams to manage application lifecycles, implement enhancements, and support digital transformation initiatives in the Tax and Treasury domains.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide functional and technical support for Tax and Treasury applications (e.g., SAP TRM, Kyriba, OneSource, etc.).
• Implement in coordination with the Business a tax compliance management system to image the requirements for a company listed on the stock exchange.
• Act as the IT point of contact for Finance teams regarding system issues, enhancements, and projects.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams for incident resolution, system upgrades, and patch management. The implementation/customization is mostly done by an external consultant.
• Participate in or lead implementation projects, including requirement gathering, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and data security standards.
• Maintain and update system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.
• Simplification tax environments under consideration of legal requirements
Expectations:
• Strong understanding of financial processes, especially in the areas of Tax, Treasury, and Cash Management.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and user satisfaction.
• Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and stay current with Automotive trends.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Finance, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting and developing financial applications, ideally in Tax or Treasury.
• Familiarity with systems such as SAP (FI/TRM), Kyriba, Thomson Reuters OneSource, or similar platforms.
• Experience with ITIL-based support processes and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
• Experience in project work or system implementation is a strong advantage.

Some additional information
Preferred location: Schweinfurt – Germany / Gothenburg – Sweden / Airasca - Italy
International travel is required for this position, depending on the projects phases.
