Job Description

We are looking for a new team member in Hägendorf in the role as

Sr. Process Engineering Supervisor - CNC Programming and Tooling

Start date: in alignment with the candidate’s availability

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of CNC machine programmers for daily business activities and improvement Project.

• Talent development of team members through coaching, training and personalized developments plans.

• Develop stable and capable manufacturing processes through a structured process development approach.

• Develop and implement process improvements to increase labor efficiency, reduce scrap and costs

• Collaborate with engineers and other departments to optimize processes and solve issues.

• Lead a structured approach to CNC programming, Tool and process optimization through data capturing, analysis and problem-solving methods to meet business targets

• Provide support to the team in Root Cause Analysis of supply and quality issues as they arise through tools such as Lean Six Sigma

• Project Management - provide timely and accurate reporting on project activities ensuring projects are delivered to agreed timelines.

• Demonstrate strong leadership and a clear identifiable work ethos within the Engineering team.

• Work with Manager to develop and implement strategic engineering Goals & Objectives.

• Support CNC machine investment and continuous improvement.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Preferably bachelor’s degree.

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

• Good knowledge of production environments / CNC machining and tooling

• Mastery of lean manufacturing tools, 6 sigmas, process capability analysis

• Good knowledge of investigation tools (hishikawa, 5 whys...)

• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to make effective decisions.

• Demonstrated ability to understand technical issues and provide practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.

• Language: Fluent German is a must + very good/fluent English
