As part of the strategic initiative "B. Braun – The next Decade," the "Smart Therapy Eco-System" offers a variety of digital services and applications that add value to our customers' medical products. Cloud services are provided through the connection to the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT).

Within B. Braun Avitum AG, we are looking for a Software Tester (f/m/d) TypeScript for Clinical Applications and Cloud Solutions for our Center of Excellence Active Medical Devices (CoE AMD) in the Research and Development department to develop automated test suites for modern server applications. We develop innovative pplications to connect active medical devices such as infusion pumps, providing clinical users with functions like therapy documentation and remote alarm notification, and supporting users with optimized workflows.

In the Digital Solutions program (Automated Infusion Systems), we develop server-based applications using technologies such as Spring Boot, Angular, Docker, and Kafka, which are primarily verified with automated test suites based on the Cypress framework in system testing.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Developing a test automation framework and selecting the associated tools
Specifying and automating test cases in connection with customer requirements
Conducting tests to ensure the quality and functionality of the software
Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects
Supporting the creation of reports and software acceptance
Collaborating with development teams to improve test processes

Professional Competencies:

Successfully completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering / Communications Engineering, or comparable
Experience in using common development languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript, ideally Java
Experience in software development and verification
Experience in Behavior Driven Development is desirable
Ideally, experience with the Cypress test framework
Ideally, further training as an ISTQB Certified Tester
Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
