Studierendenwerk Bonn is a modern service provider with the mission of creating the economic and social conditions for successful studies. Our work focuses on the areas of catering, student housing, financing, childcare and counseling.

You distribute the delivered lunch, prepare the afternoon snack for the children and set the tables – in compliance with the legal and operational requirements (food hygiene regulations HACCP)
You will carry out cleaning and dishwashing tasks within the daycare center’s daily routine in compliance with legal regulations and company hygiene guidelines
You take care of the storage of the weekly food requirements in compliance with the legal regulations (food hygiene), checking the best-before date
You will be responsible for replenishing, checking and passing on hygiene products (e.g. toilet paper, soap, disinfectant)
You check the cooling and freezing units (temperature measurements)
You implement all measures according to the hygiene/cleaning plan, e.g. washing and drying laundry (dishcloths, towels, bed linen, bibs, etc.)
Disinfect outside the kitchen if necessary (e.g. door handles, light switches, etc.)

You have knowledge of the catering or communal catering sector as well as basic HACCP training
You have experience in handling food and the necessary equipment (e.g. convection oven, freezer, refrigerator)
You have experience in handling technical aids/devices
You have empathy and preferably experience with children
You have a basic understanding of catering for children
You are a team player
You are flexible and reliable
You have a good command of German
You are a strong communicator, a team player and flexible.
