As a Plant Engineer for Process Equipment at our sterile manufacturing site in Stein, Canton Aargau, you will be part of the Engineering Team and play a key role in ensuring the technical availability, reliability, and optimization of assigned equipment and systems. In this role, you will drive operational excellence while ensuring full compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.

What you will do:
Participate in FATs, construction walkdowns, and Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) to ensure smooth handover of new process equipment
Ensure reliable operation and compliant execution of maintenance activities according to Safety and cGMP standards
Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date technical documentation for systems and equipment
Support risk assessments and develop SOPs and work instructions for new equipment and processes
Maintain qualification status of assigned equipment with respect to Safety and cGMP requirements
Ensure effective deviation and change control management within the area of responsibility
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) during audits and inspections for assigned systems
What we are looking for:
Academical degree in engineering or comparable in economics with a technical focus (HF, FH, Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc. / B. Sc.)
Significant experience in Engineering or Operations within the pharmaceutical industry
Strong understanding of cGMP requirements; knowledge of EHS compliance preferred
Experience in aseptic manufacturing and process equipment management
Strong analytical skills with the ability to define KPIs and identify improvement opportunities
Excellent English skills; German proficiency is an asset
Structured working style, strong technical mindset, and ability to collaborate across functions
