Located in Stein, Switzerland our successful CDMO Business Unit Drug Product Services (DPS) currently offers exciting opportunities. Become part of a group that enables its customers to meet some of the greatest challenges in patient treatment and join us by applying for the position as QC Microbiology scientist DPS growth project for a new sterile Drug product facility to support quality control and manufacturing related microbiology project activities.

What you’ll do:
Routine execution and coordination of microbiological testing including environmental monitoring, bacterial endotoxins-, bioburden- and sterility testing etc.
Adhere to GMP regulations to ensure flawless operations
Perform, develop, establish and improve microbiological testing procedures, e.g. method suitability testing and provide training for test methods
Support microbiology-related projects, such as implementation of new methods
Ensure appropriate maintenance of equipment, safety and health protection following laboratory and safety instructions and all cGMP regulations
Train analytical methods and/or corresponding instruments
What we’re looking for:
Education as Lab Technician, Bachelor or equivalent in Microbiology or Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields
Working experience in microbiological testing, preferably in pharmaceutical industry working under cGMP Regulations
Sound working knowledge in all (and in-depth knowledge in at least one) relevant microbiological test types (environmental monitoring, endotoxin, bioburden and sterility testing)
Knowledge with automated systems (e.g. Growth direct, Pyrotec Pro) is an asset
Excellent communication skills
Fluency in written and spoken English, German is an asset
